Belushi will be joined by his daughter\, Nashville singer-songwriter Jami Belushi\, veteran bluesman James Montgomery\, and musicians with ties to Aerosmith\, the J. Geils Band\, and the original Blues Brothers. \nMost people know Jim Belushi from Saturday Night Live\, According to Jim\, and a film career stretching from About Last Night and K-9 to The Principal. But music has run alongside acting for decades. Belushi has fronted his own rhythm-and-blues band\, The Sacred Hearts\, and eventually joined Dan Aykroyd in carrying the Blues Brothers tradition forward after the death of his older brother John. Jim and Aykroyd have performed together for more than two decades\, including opening for the Rolling Stones at Chicago’s Soldier Field. Jami Belushi has begun building her own career as a singer-songwriter\, making her major live debut before roughly 25\,000 people at Chicago’s Windy City Smokeout in 2025. On August 15\, father and daughter share a stage again\, this time with the Atlantic Ocean just beyond the beach bar.
