SUMMARY:Restless Road plays the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun
DESCRIPTION:Restless Road plays the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun on Saturday\, August 29\, for a free 8 p.m. concert. \nZach Beeken\, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack have built the Nashville-based trio around something country music has always done particularly well: harmony. Three distinct voices come together over songs about relationships\, growing older\, small-town life and the messy territory between falling in love and watching it fall apart. \nIt’s a formula that has carried Restless Road beyond 300 million career streams\, attracted more than 5 million social media followers and taken the trio from Nashville to sold-out headlining shows in New York and London. \nOn Saturday night\, you can see them at the Wolf Den without buying a ticket. \nThree Voices That Found Each Other the Long Way Around\nRestless Road’s story didn’t begin with three friends starting a band in a garage. \nIt began on television. \nZach Beeken and Colton Pack competed separately on the third season of The X Factor in 2013 before being brought together as part of a new country group. Restless Road was born\, eventually advancing to the semifinals of the competition. \nThe lineup would change in the years that followed. Garrett Nichols joined the group in 2015\, while Pack spent time away before eventually returning. \nThe result is today’s trio: Beeken\, Nichols and Pack. \nTheir voices are different enough that each remains recognizable on its own. Put them together\, though\, and those differences become the point. \nRather than building the music around one dominant frontman with two backing singers\, Restless Road uses all three voices as part of its identity. \nKane Brown Helped Put Them Back on the Road\nAnother future country star was around during those early television days. \nKane Brown crossed paths with members of Restless Road before either act had established the careers they have today. \nYears later\, Restless Road posted a cover of Brown’s “Good as You.” The connection was rekindled\, and Brown became an important part of the group’s next chapter. \nRestless Road eventually signed through Brown’s label partnership with Sony Music Nashville and joined him on tour. \nBrown also appeared on the trio’s 2020 recording of “Take Me Home\,” which draws from John Denver’s “Take Me Home\, Country Roads.” \nThe collaboration helped introduce the group’s harmonies to a much larger country audience. \nThen Came “Growing Old With You”\nRestless Road found its breakthrough with a love song. \n“Growing Old With You” reached No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway and became one of the group’s signature recordings. \nIt’s an uncomplicated premise: finding the person you don’t just want today\, but the person you want beside you decades from now. \nThat emphasis on the song and the voices rather than production tricks proved particularly well suited to Restless Road. \nThe trio later performed “Growing Old With You” on ABC’s The Bachelor\, giving the group another national showcase. \nBy then\, the road was getting considerably less restless. \n18 Songs for a First Album\nRestless Road released its debut full-length album\, Last Rodeo\, in 2023. \nThey didn’t ease into it. \nThe album arrived with 18 tracks\, giving Beeken\, Nichols and Pack room to explore several sides of contemporary country rather than constructing an album around one successful single. \n“Growing Old With You” is there\, alongside “Bar Friends\,” “Sundown Somewhere\,” “On My Way\,” “I Don’t Wanna Be That Guy” and the title track. \nThe songs also reflect different stages of relationships and life\, moving between commitment\, heartbreak\, friendship and the uncertainty that comes before somebody figures out which direction they’re headed. \nMembers of the trio contributed to the writing throughout the album\, including the title track. \nFrom Nashville to London\nRestless Road has spent much of the years since building its reputation the old-fashioned way. \nThey’ve toured. \nThe trio has shared the road with Kane Brown\, Tim McGraw\, Russell Dickerson\, Cole Swindell and Brett Young\, among others\, while also making festival appearances at Stagecoach and CMA Fest. \nTheir own Last Rodeo Tour demonstrated that an audience was willing to come specifically for them. \nRestless Road sold out New York City’s Gramercy Theatre\, Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl and Lafayette in London. \nThe group has also made repeated trips overseas\, including an appearance at the massive C2C: Country to Country festival in the United Kingdom. \nThat’s a long way from three singers trying to survive a television competition. \nNew Music Keeps the Story Moving\nLast Rodeo established the band\, but Restless Road hasn’t stopped there. \nMore recent releases include “Last Thing I Deserve\,” “Goin’ Out Like That” and “Done It By Now\,” continuing the group’s move beyond its debut album while keeping the three-part vocals at the center. \nThat matters for Saturday’s Wolf Den show. \nThis isn’t a nostalgia appearance built around one hit from several years ago. Restless Road is still in the middle of building its career\, releasing new music and expanding an audience that has already reached well beyond the United States. \nA Big Act in a Small Room\nAnd that’s what makes the Wolf Den date interesting. \nRestless Road has played major country festivals\, toured with some of Nashville’s biggest stars and sold out its own headlining dates in New York\, Nashville and London. \nThe Wolf Den is different. \nLocated inside Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth\, it’s an intimate room where the audience surrounds a stage that feels unusually close compared with the arenas and festival grounds Restless Road has become accustomed to playing. \nEven better\, admission is free. \nThere is a catch. \nCapacity is limited. \nDon’t Show Up at 7:55\nWolf Den seating is first-come\, first-served\, and reservations aren’t available. \nGuests can begin lining up no earlier than three hours before showtime. One person may hold up to four places in line\, but everyone must be present when seating begins. \nThe venue is restricted to guests 21 and older. \nThe Wolf Den is also non-smoking and offers full beverage service during performances. \nWith an act that has accumulated hundreds of millions of streams appearing in such a small room for free\, this probably isn’t the Saturday to wander over a few minutes before 8 and assume you’ll find a seat. \nThree Voices\, One Saturday Night\nThere are plenty of ways to make country music sound enormous. \nYou can add more guitars. Bigger drums. More production. \nRestless Road found another way. \nStart with three voices that don’t sound the same. \nThen let them sing together. \nSaturday night at the Wolf Den strips away some of the scale surrounding a band that has spent the past several years getting steadily bigger. No arena. No giant festival field. No expensive ticket. \nJust Beeken\, Nichols and Pack in one of Mohegan Sun’s smallest rooms. \nAnd those harmonies don’t need much space. \nEvent Details\nEvent: Restless Road at the Wolf Den\nDate: Saturday\, August 29\, 2026\nTime: 8 p.m.\nLocation: Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun\nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382\nAdmission: Free\nAge Requirement: 21+\nSeating: First-come\, first-served\nLine Policy: Guests may line up no earlier than three hours before the show\nSmoking: The Wolf Den is a non-smoking venue\nPerformers: Zach Beeken\, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack\nMusic: Contemporary country \nRestless Road brings its signature three-part harmonies\, songs from Last Rodeo and newer music to the intimate Wolf Den for a free Saturday-night performance. \nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \n  \nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown. \n

SUMMARY:TLC & Salt-N-Pepa with special guest En Vogue
DESCRIPTION:If you grew up on ’90s R&B and hip-hop\, this lineup feels like a time capsule that still hits just as hard today. TLC helped redefine the sound of the era with songs that mixed attitude\, vulnerability\, and straight-up hooks you couldn’t shake. Tracks like “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls” weren’t just hits… they stuck around\, becoming part of the culture in a way that still resonates when you hear them now. \nThen you’ve got Salt-N-Pepa bringing that unapologetic\, high-energy presence that changed the game for women in hip-hop. Their catalog is packed with crowd-ready anthems like “Push It” and “Shoop\,” the kind of songs that instantly turn a concert into a full-on singalong. They don’t ease into it either… It’s confident\, fun\, and built to get a reaction from the first beat. \nOpening the night\, En Vogue sets the tone with smooth harmonies and that polished R&B sound that defined a generation. Songs like “Free Your Mind” and “Don’t Let Go (Love)” bring both power and precision\, giving the whole lineup a strong foundation right out of the gate. Put it all together\, and you’ve got a show that moves between nostalgia and pure energy… the kind of night where you’re not just watching\, you’re right in it.

SUMMARY:Soul Sound Revue brings the sound of Motown to Mohegan Sun
DESCRIPTION:            Soul Sound Revue brings the sound of Motown to Mohegan Sun on Friday\, August 28\, turning the Sun Patio into an outdoor dance floor for the next installment of the resort’s Party on the Sun Patio summer concert series. \nDoors open at 6:30 p.m.\, with Soul Sound Revue taking the stage at 8 p.m. Admission is free\, and the evening combines live music with food trucks\, drinks and an open-air setting that has become one of Mohegan Sun’s Friday-night summer traditions. \nBut calling Soul Sound Revue simply a Motown tribute doesn’t quite capture what the band does. \nThe Connecticut-based group reaches from the classic vocal groups of the 1960s through the funk and R&B of the 1970s and ’80s\, then keeps moving forward into contemporary dance music. \nMore Than 40 Years of Soul\nSoul Sound Revue has been performing for more than four decades\, building its shows around the sound\, choreography and showmanship that helped make Motown a cultural phenomenon. \nThe group isn’t built around impersonating one particular artist. \nInstead\, it recreates an entire era of American popular music. \nIts repertoire draws from artists including The Four Tops\, The Temptations\, Stevie Wonder and Earth\, Wind & Fire\, moving between Motown\, soul\, funk and R&B. More recent material from performers such as Bruno Mars pushes the show beyond nostalgia and gives the band a songbook capable of reaching several generations in the same audience. \nThat makes the August 28 concert different from many of the tribute acts appearing during Party on the Sun Patio. Rather than spending the night with one artist’s catalog\, Soul Sound Revue can move across decades of dance music. \nBuilt Like the Bands That Made the Music\nThere’s another reason Soul Sound Revue can tackle that material. \nThis isn’t a small group playing Motown songs over backing tracks. \nSoul Sound Revue performs with three lead vocalists backed by a rhythm section and horn section\, giving the group the personnel to recreate the vocal harmonies\, brass arrangements and rhythmic punch that defined much of the original music. \nThe singers are also performers. \nThe group’s stage show emphasizes coordinated movement\, audience interaction and the polished presentation associated with classic Motown acts\, when choreography and appearance were nearly as recognizable as the records themselves. \nThat’s especially important with songs associated with groups such as The Temptations and Four Tops. Those records weren’t created around a lone singer standing behind a microphone. Harmony\, movement and presentation were part of the package. \nSoul Sound Revue tries to bring that complete experience back to the stage. \nA Band with Some History Behind It\nSoul Sound Revue has spent decades performing throughout Connecticut and the Northeast at theaters\, fairs\, festivals\, casinos and community concert series. \nOver the years\, the group has shared bills or stages with artists including The Temptations\, The Chi-Lites\, The Marvelettes and Wilson Pickett. \nMohegan Sun isn’t unfamiliar territory\, either. Soul Sound Revue has a long history of appearances at the resort and returned to the Sun Patio as recently as the 2025 Party on the Sun Patio season. \nThe band’s 2026 calendar has kept it moving around Connecticut throughout the summer\, with appearances in Southington\, Bloomfield\, Avon\, Waterford\, New Britain\, Hamden\, Wallingford\, East Hartford and other communities before the August 28 Mohegan Sun date. \nFrom Motown to Funk\nFor anyone wondering what “Motown tribute” means musically\, expect the boundaries to be fairly loose. \nThe foundation comes from the Detroit sound that produced some of the most recognizable records of the 1960s and early ’70s: strong melodies\, layered vocal harmonies\, driving bass lines and songs designed to make people move. \nSoul Sound Revue then follows that music into the funkier sounds that came afterward. \nEarth\, Wind & Fire fits naturally into that progression\, as does the later work of Stevie Wonder. From there\, the band can jump decades forward into modern songs that share the same basic purpose. \nGet people dancing. \nFor an outdoor summer show\, that’s probably more useful than worrying too much about where Motown ends and funk begins. \nPart of 14 Friday Nights on the Sun Patio\nThe concert is part of Mohegan Sun’s 2026 Party on the Sun Patio\, a 14-week run of free Friday-night concerts stretching from June 19 through September 18. \nThis year’s lineup has essentially turned the patio into a tour through several generations of popular music. \nThe summer has included tributes to Elton John\, Bruce Springsteen\, Queen\, Kenny Chesney and Fleetwood Mac\, along with nights devoted to ’70s rock\, yacht rock\, ’80s music and a ’90s house party. \nFollowing Soul Sound Revue\, the series heads toward its final three weekends with The Journey Tribute Show\, Zac N’ Fried performing the music of Zac Brown Band and Beatlemania Again closing the season with The Beatles. \nSoul Sound Revue gets the August 28 slot with Motown\, soul\, funk and R&B. \nAn Outdoor Concert Built for Dancing\nThe Sun Patio sits outside Mohegan Sun and operates as an open-air summer entertainment space with a stage\, bar\, seating areas\, fire pits and room in front of the stage for dancing. \nFriday’s doors open at 6:30 p.m.\, giving guests about 90 minutes before Soul Sound Revue begins at 8. \nThe entire Party on the Sun Patio event runs until 11 p.m. \nAdmission is free\, but guests must be 21 or older and show valid identification. \nSeating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and guests are permitted to bring their own chairs. Plastic Adirondack chairs can also be rented at the Tiki Hut for $10. \nThose rental chairs can’t be taken onto the dance floor or into the fire-pit areas. \nConsidering Soul Sound Revue’s particular mission\, the dance-floor restriction may not be much of a hardship. Sitting down probably isn’t the point of this one. \nDinner Comes to the Patio\nFood trucks rotate throughout the Party on the Sun Patio season. \nMohegan Sun’s current schedule lists three trucks for the Soul Sound Revue concert: \nHungry Lion \nReel Catch \nYummy Wagon \nThat lineup differs from some earlier promotional listings for the August 28 event\, so guests should keep in mind that food trucks are subject to change. \nDrink specials and beverages are available from the Sun Patio Bar. \nOutside food\, beverages and coolers aren’t permitted. \nFire Pits and a Different Way to Watch\nGuests looking for something beyond general admission can also reserve one of the Sun Patio’s fire pits. \nThe reserved areas provide seating and cocktail service\, with VIP fire pits positioned for better views of the stage. \nThey’re separate from the free general-admission experience\, so nobody needs a reservation simply to attend the concert. \nFor everyone else\, it’s first come\, first served: find a chair\, claim some space or head toward the dance floor. \nForty Years of Music Made to Move\nSoul Sound Revue is an unusually good fit for what Mohegan Sun has built on the patio. \nThe setting doesn’t demand a quiet audience staring toward a stage. There’s food moving around\, drinks being poured\, people talking\, fire pits burning and a dance floor sitting directly in front of the band. \nThen you put a horn section behind three singers and start pulling songs from Motown\, Stevie Wonder and Earth\, Wind & Fire. \nAt that point\, the patio can take care of itself. \nEvent Details\nEvent: Soul Sound Revue – Motown Tribute at Sun Patio\nSeries: Party on the Sun Patio\nDate: Friday\, August 28\, 2026\nDoors: 6:30 p.m.\nBand Starts: 8 p.m.\nEvent Ends: 11 p.m.\nLocation: Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun\nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382\nAdmission: Free\nAge Requirement: 21+ with valid ID\nSeating: First-come\, first-served\nPersonal Chairs: Permitted\nChair Rentals: $10\nOutside Food and Beverages: Not permitted\nFeatured Food Trucks: Hungry Lion\, Reel Catch and Yummy Wagon\nPerformer: Soul Sound Revue\nMusic: Motown\, soul\, funk\, R&B and dance music \nSoul Sound Revue performs as part of the 14-week Party on the Sun Patio series\, which continues every Friday through September 18. \nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \n  \nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown. \n

SUMMARY:Nick Bosse & The Northern Roots take over the Wolf Den
DESCRIPTION:Nick Bosse & The Northern Roots take over the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun on Thursday\, August 27\, bringing a distinctly southeastern Connecticut brand of country music to one of the region’s best-known live-music rooms. \nThe free show begins at 8 p.m. and puts a local artist who has spent years building his audience at vineyards\, fairs\, taverns and outdoor concerts onto a stage that has hosted national acts from nearly every corner of American popular music. \nFrom North Stonington to the Wolf Den\nNick Bosse hails from North Stonington and describes himself as a New England-based singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist. He began performing cover gigs in local bars around 2013 before forming The Northern Roots\, the backing band that has traveled and performed with him ever since. \nHis music draws heavily from traditional and outlaw country\, southern rock and bluegrass\, with Bosse pointing toward artists such as Merle Haggard\, Waylon Jennings\, Johnny Cash\, Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers as part of the musical lineage behind his sound. \nThat puts him well outside the glossy pop-country lane. \nBosse’s music leans into rougher edges\, working-class themes and a vocal style built more around grit than polish. \n“What Happened to Country”\nThe song most closely associated with Bosse is “What Happened to Country\,” released in 2021. \nThe title says quite a bit about his musical identity. \nRather than chasing whatever happens to be dominating contemporary country radio\, the song looks backward toward a more traditional style of country songwriting and performance. It has become Bosse’s signature track and has accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams since its release. \nHis recorded catalog also includes songs such as “Hippie Queen\,” “Junk Mail\,” “Wastin’ Time\,” “Cocaine Sunrise\,” “Pretty New Diamond\,” “Slow It Down” and “Outlaw Country Soul.” \nThose titles alone give you a pretty good idea of the neighborhood his music lives in. \nMeet The Northern Roots\nFor larger performances\, Bosse is backed by The Northern Roots\, a group of musicians from Connecticut and Rhode Island who expand his songs beyond the solo acoustic setting. \nThe full-band format gives the music more weight\, pushing the country foundation toward southern rock while leaving room for the bluegrass and traditional-country influences behind Bosse’s songwriting. \nThat matters for the Wolf Den show. \nA Nick Bosse solo performance can put the focus almost entirely on the lyric and voice. The Northern Roots version is built for a bigger room\, with the energy and volume needed to turn those same songs into a full country-rock show. \nA Very Busy Summer Close to Home\nThe Wolf Den appearance lands in the middle of an unusually active stretch for Bosse and The Northern Roots. \nHis August schedule has included performances at Preston Ridge Vineyard\, the Windjammer in Westerly\, Mystic Seaport Museum\, the Hamburg Fair and Waterford Beach Park. The day after the Wolf Den show\, Bosse and The Northern Roots are scheduled to head to the Charlestown Rathskeller. \nThat run says something about the audience Bosse has built. \nHe can perform solo beside the Mystic River one weekend\, bring the full band to a fair or vineyard the next\, and then step onto a Mohegan Sun stage without dramatically changing what the music is trying to be. \nIt’s still local country. Just louder. \nInside the Wolf Den\nThe Wolf Den has been one of Mohegan Sun’s signature entertainment venues since the casino opened in 1996. \nLocated in the center of the Casino of the Earth\, the intimate venue holds roughly 350 guests and combines a full beverage service with a state-of-the-art sound system and free live entertainment. \nOver the years\, its stage has hosted performers including Blue Öyster Cult\, Gin Blossoms\, America\, Run-DMC\, Chubby Checker\, Sister Hazel and The Marshall Tucker Band. The Academy of Country Music named the Wolf Den its Theater of the Year in 2013. \nThat history is part of what makes Bosse’s appearance notable locally. \nThis is a North Stonington musician walking onto the same stage that has regularly hosted established national touring acts. \nFree\, but Get There Early\nWolf Den concerts are free\, but that doesn’t mean admission is guaranteed. \nSeating is first-come\, first-served\, and the venue does not accept reservations. SUMMARY:American Girl: A Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
DESCRIPTION:American Girl: A Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers comes to the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun on Sunday\, August 23\, bringing a night of classic American rock built around one of the most enduring songbooks of the past 50 years. \nThe free concert begins at 7 p.m. inside the Wolf Den\, where the Long Island-based six-piece will recreate the sound of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers\, from the ringing guitars and Hammond organ to the melodies that made songs like “American Girl” instantly recognizable. \nFor longtime Petty fans\, this is more than a greatest-hits catalog. The band has built its show around reproducing the chemistry of the Heartbreakers themselves. \nMore Than Just the Guy Out Front\nAmerican Girl approaches Petty’s music as the work of a band rather than simply trying to imitate its famous frontman. \nThat distinction matters. \nTom Petty was one of rock’s great songwriters and performers\, but the Heartbreakers developed a sound around him that was every bit as important. Mike Campbell’s economical guitar work and Benmont Tench’s keyboards became defining pieces of records that rarely sounded overproduced\, even as they filled arenas. \nAmerican Girl’s six musicians take on those individual roles. \nLou F. Kennedy handles lead vocals and guitar\, taking the central role in recreating Petty’s distinctive vocal delivery and stage presence. \nBrian Gabriel takes the lead guitar position associated with Mike Campbell\, providing the jangling riffs\, melodic leads and restrained guitar work that became one of the signatures of the Heartbreakers’ sound. \nDante Fiorio handles keyboards\, including the piano and Hammond organ textures associated with longtime Heartbreaker Benmont Tench. \nThe rhythm section features Phil Tuzzolo on drums and Frank Cabanach on bass\, while multi-instrumentalist John Faughey fills out the arrangements with backing vocals\, keyboards\, percussion\, harmonica and acoustic and electric guitars. \nThat six-piece lineup gives American Girl room to reproduce some of the layers that made the original recordings work without turning the songs into something they’re not. \nA Catalog That Spans Generations\nTom Petty and the Heartbreakers released their self-titled debut album in 1976\, introducing a sound that drew from rock and roll\, folk\, country and the emerging power-pop movement without fitting comfortably into any one of them. \n“American Girl” and “Breakdown” helped establish the band\, but 1979’s Damn the Torpedoes pushed the Heartbreakers into rock’s upper tier with “Refugee” and “Don’t Do Me Like That.” \nThe hits kept coming. \n“The Waiting\,” “Don’t Come Around Here No More” and “Learning to Fly” became Heartbreakers standards\, while Petty’s solo recordings added songs including “Free Fallin’\,” “I Won’t Back Down” and “Runnin’ Down a Dream” to the larger catalog. \nLater recordings such as “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and the more reflective material from Wildflowers showed how comfortably Petty’s songwriting could move between arena rock and quieter storytelling. \nBy the time Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002\, their songs had already become fixtures of American rock radio. \nCapturing the Heartbreakers Sound\nAmerican Girl describes its goal as capturing the chemistry of the original Heartbreakers rather than simply dressing the part. \nIt’s a sensible approach to Petty’s music because many of these songs aren’t technically flashy. Their power comes from what the musicians don’t play as much as what they do. \nA guitar enters at exactly the right moment. An organ sits beneath the chorus. The rhythm section pushes without overwhelming the song. \nThen there’s that voice. \nAmerican Girl builds its performances around those familiar musical ingredients while emphasizing the hooks and arrangements audiences already know. \nThe result is designed as a celebration of the records rather than a reinvention of them. \nA Sunday Night at the Wolf Den\nThe Wolf Den setting should suit this material particularly well. \nLocated in the center of Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth\, the venue has spent decades presenting free concerts by national touring artists\, veteran performers and some of the region’s strongest tribute bands. \nThere’s no sprawling arena separating the audience from the musicians here. The relatively intimate room puts the band close to the crowd\, which should work nicely for songs built to produce a roomful of people singing the same chorus. \nAnd there are plenty of those choruses. \nFrom “American Girl” and “Refugee” to “Free Fallin’” and “I Won’t Back Down\,” Sunday night’s concert offers a trip through a body of music that has remained remarkably durable. \nYounger listeners have discovered it long after the records were released. Older fans have been carrying these songs around for decades. \nEither way\, chances are you’ll know the words. \nEvent Details\nEvent: American Girl: A Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers\nDate: Sunday\, August 23\, 2026\nTime: 7 p.m.\nLocation: Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun\nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382\nAdmission: Free \nAmerican Girl is a six-piece Long Island-based tribute band celebrating the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers\, with musicians recreating the guitars\, keyboards\, rhythms and vocal arrangements behind Petty’s extensive catalog. \nSeating at the Wolf Den is limited and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Because popular performances can draw substantial crowds\, arriving early is recommended. \n\nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown.

SUMMARY:Connecticut Pickle Festival at the Mohegan Sun
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve got even a mild appreciation for pickles… this is where it goes full tilt. The Connecticut Pickle Festival leans all the way in\, turning a simple snack into a full-day experience that’s brinier\, crunchier\, and somehow bigger than you expect. Wander through the Pickle Patch and sample your way across flavors from all over the country… yes\, unlimited. If it’s pickled\, brined\, or packed with that bold dill kick\, it’s here. And somewhere in the middle of it all\, Pickle Pablo is making the rounds… dancing\, posing for photos\, and keeping the whole thing just a little unhinged in the best way while people sip pickle martinis and take the occasional pickle shot. \nThen there’s the food… and this is where things get a little ridiculous. Fried pickles? Of course. But also pickle pizza\, pickle fries\, pickle-topped ice cream\, pickle quesadillas\, and even pickle shaved ice. It’s that kind of lineup where you stop questioning it and just go with it. Mix in some classic carnival food and sweet treats\, and you’ve got options for whatever direction your appetite decides to go. All day\, live music keeps things moving with a mix of country\, pop\, and rock\, and when you’re not eating\, you’ll probably find yourself watching… or accidentally signing up for… the Pickle Eating Contest or the always chaotic Pickle Juice Challenge. \nAnd this year adds something new to the mix… the Pickle Hoedown. Think boots\, country beats\, line dancing\, and a crowd that’s fully committed to the bit\, with Pickle Pablo right in the middle of it. It’s loud\, it’s a little absurd\, and it works. For the 21+ crowd\, there’s a full lineup of pickle-inspired cocktails alongside your usual favorites\, so you can lean in as much or as little as you want. Show up hungry\, show up curious\, and just go with it… because this is one of those events that doesn’t really make sense until you’re there.

SUMMARY:Fleetwood Macked: The Ultimate Tribute to Fleetwood Mac
DESCRIPTION:Fleetwood Macked: The Ultimate Tribute to Fleetwood Mac brings the songs of one of rock’s most enduring bands to Mohegan Sun’s Sun Patio on Friday\, August 21\, as the free Party on the Sun Patio series continues. \nDoors open at 6:30 p.m.\, with Fleetwood Macked taking the stage at 8 p.m. for an outdoor show built around the Fleetwood Mac catalog\, including favorites such as “Go Your Own Way\,” “Dreams\,” “Don’t Stop\,” “Rhiannon” and “Landslide.” \nThe concert is part of Mohegan Sun’s 14-week summer series of free Friday night performances\, combining live music with food trucks\, drinks and an open-air setting. \nMore Than 18 Years of Fleetwood Mac\nFleetwood Macked isn’t a recently assembled tribute act. \nThe New York-based group has spent more than 18 years recreating Fleetwood Mac onstage\, with its members portraying the celebrated Rumours-era lineup of Stevie Nicks\, Lindsey Buckingham\, Christine McVie\, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. \nAt the center are husband-and-wife musicians Hillary and Michael Epstein\, performing the Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham roles. They’re joined by Tracy Wells as Christine McVie\, Jay Novas as John McVie\, Phil Weiss as Mick Fleetwood and Andrew Nadien on keyboards\, guitar and vocals. \nThe musicians had performed together in various combinations before forming Fleetwood Macked around their shared interest in Fleetwood Mac. All came to the project with backgrounds as professional touring rock musicians. \nThat experience shapes the group’s approach. Rather than substantially rearranging the material\, Fleetwood Macked says it tries to reproduce the songs as Fleetwood Mac performed them\, paying particular attention to the vocal harmonies and instrumental parts that defined the band’s sound. \nThe production goes beyond the music with costume changes\, dialogue and video backdrops designed to evoke different periods in Fleetwood Mac’s history. The group has performed both greatest-hits shows and Rumours in its entirety. \nFrom Rumours to the Later Hits\nFleetwood Macked concentrates heavily on the best-known Fleetwood Mac lineup\, giving the band an enormous catalog to draw from. \nFleetwood Mac’s self-titled 1975 album established the Buckingham-Nicks version of the group\, while 1977’s Rumours became one of the defining albums of its era. \nThat period produced songs including “Dreams\,” “Go Your Own Way\,” “The Chain” and “Don’t Stop\,” while later albums added favorites such as “Tusk\,” “Hold Me\,” “Gypsy” and “Little Lies.” \nFleetwood Macked has built its touring show around reproducing that era both musically and visually. The group has appeared at theaters\, casinos and concert venues around the country\, including The Paramount in New York\, Penn’s Peak in Pennsylvania\, Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun Pocono. \nParty on the Sun Patio\nFriday’s concert is part of Party on the Sun Patio\, Mohegan Sun’s free outdoor summer concert series. \nThe 2026 season runs for 14 weeks and focuses heavily on tribute acts celebrating artists and musical eras ranging from Bruce Springsteen and Queen to Journey\, Motown and the Zac Brown Band. Fleetwood Macked occupies the August 21 spot in the series. \nThe Sun Patio combines the concert stage with an outdoor bar\, food trucks\, fire pits and room for guests to stand or dance. \nGuests may bring their own chairs\, or Adirondack chairs can be rented for $10 at the Tiki Hut. Rental chairs aren’t permitted around the fire pits or on the dance floor. Coolers and outside food and beverages aren’t allowed. \nFor guests looking for reserved space\, VIP fire pits are available for $45 per person and include one alcoholic beverage per person\, cocktail service and a prime view of the stage. \nFood Trucks and Drinks\nFood and drinks are part of the Friday-night setup\, with the Sun Patio Bar serving throughout the event. \nMohegan Sun currently lists three food trucks for Fleetwood Macked: \nTwin Beaks Fried Chicken\nRubino’s Full Scoop\nReel Catch \nLimited-edition Party on the Sun Patio merchandise is also available at the Tiki Hut while supplies last. \nWhat Happens if It Rains?\nThere are no rain dates for Party on the Sun Patio concerts. \nIf weather prevents the outdoor show from taking place\, Mohegan Sun says cancellations will be announced by 2 p.m. on the day of the event\, with bands performing instead in the Wolf Den. \nBecause schedules and food trucks can change\, guests should check Mohegan Sun’s event page before leaving for the concert. \nEvent Details\nEvent: Fleetwood Macked: The Ultimate Tribute to Fleetwood Mac\nDate: Friday\, August 21\, 2026\nDoors: 6:30 p.m.\nBand: 8 p.m.\nAdmission: Free\nLocation: Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun\nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382 \nMore information about the concert is available on the Event link below. \nMore information about the performers is available from Fleetwood Macked. \n  \n

SUMMARY:BKFC Fight Night at Mohegan Sun Arena
DESCRIPTION:BKFC Fight Night at Mohegan Sun Arena returns Friday\, August 21\, with an undefeated Bryce Henry facing Carlos “Snake” Trinidad in the welterweight main event of a full night of bare-knuckle fighting. \nThe action begins at 6 p.m. inside Mohegan Sun Arena\, with a card that currently includes eight announced matchups ranging from lightweight through light heavyweight. \nThe event marks another Connecticut appearance for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship\, the promotion that has helped bring sanctioned bare-knuckle fighting back into the combat-sports mainstream. \nBryce Henry vs. Carlos Trinidad Headlines the Night\nThe main event matches two of BKFC’s most successful active fighters. \nBryce “Baba Yaga” Henry enters undefeated at 7-0 in BKFC. The 6-foot-3 Florida fighter has an 80-inch reach and has competed across multiple weight divisions while developing a reputation for using his unusual length and reach effectively in the Squared Circle. \nHenry is coming off a June victory over veteran Julian Lane and will have a relatively quick turnaround before stepping back into the ring at Mohegan Sun. \nWaiting for him is Carlos “Snake” Trinidad\, who enters with a 7-1 BKFC record. \nTrinidad has climbed through BKFC’s ranks since joining the promotion and has already fought in main events. His résumé includes bouts against former world boxing champion Austin Trout and Jimmy Sweeney\, with his lone BKFC loss coming against Trout in Dubai in 2025. \nThat gives Friday’s headliner an unusually strong combined record: Henry and Trinidad enter the fight with 14 BKFC victories against only one defeat. \nCody Vidal Meets Joseph Creer in the Co-Main Event\nThe co-main event moves up to light heavyweight\, where Cody Vidal faces Joseph “Dark Knight” Creer. \nVidal enters with a 4-1 BKFC record. Before moving into bare-knuckle competition\, he competed in MMA and made his BKFC debut at KnuckleMania IV. He has since worked his way into a prominent position on Friday’s card. \nCreer brings a broader combat-sports background into the matchup. In addition to his BKFC experience\, he has competed in MMA and Muay Thai and holds a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. BKFC lists him at 6-3 in bare-knuckle competition and notes that he has also compiled an undefeated 5-0 professional boxing record. \nBKFC Fight Night Card\nThe currently announced main card includes: \nWelterweight Main Event: Bryce Henry vs. Carlos Trinidad\nLight Heavyweight Co-Main Event: Cody Vidal vs. Joseph Creer\nFeatherweight: Joey Gambino vs. Tommy Strydom\nBantamweight: Lardy Navarro vs. Robert Fichtner\nFeatherweight: Kris Moutinho vs. Michael Hernandez\nLight Heavyweight: Chris Perreault vs. Joe Powers\nLightweight: Brandon Bushaw vs. Matt Denning \nThe fight card is subject to change. \nWhat Is BKFC?\nBare Knuckle Fighting Championship stages bouts in its circular Squared Circle\, with fighters competing without traditional boxing gloves. \nDespite the name\, this isn’t simply an anything-goes fight. BKFC operates under a defined ruleset\, with referees\, judges\, weight divisions and medical oversight. Fighters wrap their wrists and thumbs while leaving the knuckles exposed. \nThe absence of padded gloves creates a noticeably different style from conventional boxing. Distance\, defense and punch selection become especially important\, and cuts can have a significant effect on a fight. \nBKFC has expanded rapidly since holding its first sanctioned event in 2018 and now stages events throughout the United States and internationally. \nA Full Fight Night at Mohegan Sun Arena\nThe event takes place inside the approximately 10\,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena\, which regularly hosts major concerts\, professional sports and combat-sports events. \nDoors and fight schedules can change\, but both BKFC and Mohegan Sun currently list the event for 6 p.m. Friday. \nMohegan Sun offers free self-parking in its garages and Winter Lot. Guests should also be aware of the Arena’s bag restrictions: backpacks\, string bags\, diaper bags\, shopping bags\, messenger bags\, briefcases and rolling bags are not permitted. \nEvent Details\nEvent: BKFC Fight Night: Henry vs. Trinidad\nDate: Friday\, August 21\, 2026\nTime: 6 p.m.\nLocation: Mohegan Sun Arena\nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382 \n  \n

SUMMARY:Connecticut Pickle Festival

SUMMARY:T.J. Miller at Comix Roadhouse
DESCRIPTION:T.J. Miller at Comix Roadhouse brings the comedian\, actor and voice performer to Mohegan Sun for three nights of unpredictable stand-up Thursday through Saturday\, August 20–22. \nMiller is scheduled for an 8 p.m. preview performance Thursday\, an 8 p.m. show Friday and two Saturday performances at 6 and 8 p.m. Tickets currently range from $25 to $65. \nKnown for an intentionally loose\, improvisational style that can send a performance in unexpected directions\, Miller arrives with a résumé that stretches from stand-up comedy to some of the biggest television and movie comedies of the past two decades. \nFrom Silicon Valley to Deadpool\nMiller became particularly recognizable to television audiences as Erlich Bachman on HBO’s Silicon Valley\, a performance that earned him a Critics’ Choice Television Award. \nMovie audiences know him as Weasel opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool and Deadpool 2\, while his other screen appearances include Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One. \nHis distinctive voice has also turned up in several major animated films. Miller voiced Fred in Disney’s Big Hero 6\, Tuffnut in the How to Train Your Dragon films and Gene in The Emoji Movie. \nStand-up\, however\, remains a major part of Miller’s career. His specials include HBO’s Meticulously Ridiculous\, Comedy Central’s No Real Reason and the more recent Dear Jonah. \nRather than delivering a tightly identical performance from city to city\, Miller incorporates improvisation and absurdist storytelling into his shows\, making spontaneity part of the appeal. \nFour Shows Over Three Nights\nComix Roadhouse has scheduled four opportunities to see Miller during his Mohegan Sun visit. \nThursday\, Aug. 20: 8 p.m.\nFriday\, Aug. 21: 8 p.m.\nSaturday\, Aug. 22: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. \nThursday is designated as a preview show with special pricing\, providing a lower-cost way to catch the headliner before the weekend performances. \nThe comedy club also offers assistive listening devices through its front desk. \nMake a Night of It at Comix Roadhouse\nOne reason this event is worth presenting as more than a single comedy performance is the unusual setup at \nLocated inside Mohegan Sun\, Comix combines a dedicated comedy club with a separate Roadhouse restaurant\, bar and entertainment stage. The Roadhouse serves Texas-inspired food including smoked brisket\, country-fried chicken and pulled pork\, along with cocktails\, whiskey and a selection of craft beer. \nGuests attending Miller’s shows can arrive early for dinner before moving into the comedy club. The venue requires a $10-per-person food and beverage minimum inside the Comedy Club\, although Comix calculates the requirement across the total party. There is no corresponding minimum in the Roadhouse. \nThe entertainment continues on the Roadhouse stage before and after the comedy performances. \nThursday: Line Dancing\, T.J. Miller and Karaoke\nThursday offers the fullest night of scheduled entertainment. \nLine dancing begins at 6:30 p.m.\, followed by Miller’s preview show at 8 p.m. Karaoke begins on the separate Roadhouse stage at 9:15 p.m. \nThat setup allows guests to make an entire evening out of the visit rather than simply arriving for the stand-up set and leaving afterward. \nLive Music After the Weekend Shows\nFriday and Saturday nights shift from karaoke to live music beginning at 9:15 p.m. \nFriday’s scheduled performer is New England country singer-songwriter Maddi Ryan\, who has built a regional following through a mix of contemporary country\, candid songwriting and an energetic live show. Ryan has twice received New England Music Awards nominations for Country Act of the Year and has shared stages with performers including The Cadillac Three and Morgan Myles. \nSaturday’s performers are Red Light which is a five-piece Eastern Connecticut party-rock band known for high-energy shows spanning modern and classic rock\, country rock and pop. The veteran group features multiple lead vocalists\, four-part harmonies and dual guitars\, and has earned numerous regional Readers’ Choice honors\, including multiple Best Band awards from Norwich Magazine and The Day. \nThere is no cover charge for the late-night Roadhouse music\, although the venue becomes 21+ after 10 p.m. \nFriday\, Aug. 21: Maddi Ryan\, 9:15 p.m.\nSaturday\, Aug. 22: Red Light\, 9:15 p.m. \nBecause these late-night schedules can change\, guests planning around a particular band should check the Roadhouse schedule before heading out. \nEvent Details\nT.J. SUMMARY:Mullett at Wolf Den
DESCRIPTION:Mullett at Wolf Den brings the sound\, spectacle\, and gloriously excessive hair of 1980s arena rock to Mohegan Sun on Sunday\, August 16. The band takes the stage at 7 p.m. for a free 21+ show built around the era when guitar solos were long\, choruses were enormous\, and subtlety wasn’t exactly the point. \nSince 2010\, Mullett has made an entire show out of recreating that period rather than limiting itself to one artist. Bon Jovi\, Def Leppard\, Van Halen\, Journey\, Mötley Crüe\, and other staples of ’80s rock all feed into a performance that combines the songs with the clothes\, stage personalities\, and over-the-top attitude of the decade. \nThe Wolf Den should be an especially good fit. It’s an intimate room compared with the arenas where much of this music was born\, putting the audience close to the band for what is essentially an ’80s rock party in the middle of Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth. Admission is free\, but seating is limited and first come\, first served. \nAbout Mullett\nMullett has been performing its tribute to 1980s rock since 2010\, appearing at casinos\, theaters\, clubs\, corporate events\, festivals\, and other venues around the country. \nRather than recreating a particular concert or impersonating one famous band\, Mullett pulls from the larger arena-rock era. The band’s approach combines faithful musical performances with the visual excess that went with them: big hair\, leather\, spandex\, guitar theatrics\, and larger-than-life stage characters. \nThe current lineup performs under names that leave little doubt about the joke: \nSebastian Rock – Lead Vocals\nDan Halen – Guitar and Keyboards\nTeddy Lee – Bass\nJef Leppard – Drums \nBehind the fictional rock-star personas are experienced touring musicians. Sebastian Rock previously spent years performing as Steve Perry in a Journey tribute\, while the other members bring backgrounds in touring and live performance to a show that demands more than simply knowing the songs. \nWhat You’ll Hear\nMullett’s show reaches across the big-rock landscape of the 1980s. \nExpect music associated with Bon Jovi\, Def Leppard\, Van Halen\, Journey\, Mötley Crüe and other bands that dominated rock radio\, MTV\, and arenas during the decade. \nThat range lets the show move between soaring Journey-style vocals\, pop-metal hooks\, heavier guitar riffs\, and the kind of songs where the audience usually knows the chorus before the microphone gets pointed in its direction. \nThe presentation matters\, too. Mullett treats the visual side of ’80s rock as part of the experience rather than an afterthought. This is supposed to feel like stepping into the decade for a couple of hours\, not watching four musicians politely play old songs. \nA Free Sunday Night Show\nThere are no tickets required for Mullett’s Wolf Den performance. \nAdmission is free for guests 21 and older\, with seating available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nThe band begins at 7 p.m.\, the Wolf Den’s regular Sunday showtime. \nWhen to Get in Line\nGuests may begin lining up three hours before the show\, making 4 p.m. the earliest permitted lineup time for Mullett. \nOne person can hold up to four places in line. However\, everyone must be present when seating takes place. A person standing in line can’t secure an empty seat inside for someone arriving later. \nBecause the Wolf Den has limited seating\, arriving early is recommended for popular performances. \nAbout the Wolf Den\nLocated in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth\, the Wolf Den has become one of the resort’s signature entertainment spaces by presenting nationally known performers without charging admission. \nIts circular\, intimate design puts audiences considerably closer to performers than they would be in a traditional theater or arena. Past Wolf Den performers have ranged from classic-rock and country artists to hip-hop acts\, including The Marshall Tucker Band\, Warrant\, Sister Hazel\, Chubby Checker\, Queensrÿche\, Run-DMC\, and Ludacris. \nThe venue offers full beverage service and is non-smoking. \nEvent Details\nDate\nSunday\, August 16\, 2026 \nTime\n7:00 p.m. \nLocation\nWolf Den at Mohegan Sun \nAddress\n1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.\nUncasville\, CT \nAdmission\nFree \nSeating\nLimited and first come\, first served. \nEarliest Lineup Time\n4:00 p.m. \nAge Restrictions\n21+ \nParking\nFree parking is available at Mohegan Sun. \nImportant Notes\nGuests may line up no earlier than three hours before the performance. One person may hold up to four places in line\, but all guests must be present when seating takes place. The Wolf Den is a non-smoking entertainment venue. Times and performers are subject to change. \nMore Information\nFor more information\, visit the event website using the Event Website link below. \n  \n\n

SUMMARY:Acoustic Sundays: Madison Blues at Sun Patio
DESCRIPTION:Acoustic Sundays: Madison Blues at Sun Patio brings a laid-back mix of live music to Mohegan Sun on Sunday\, August 16\, as Madison Blues takes over the outdoor Sun Patio from 4 to 8 p.m. Admission is free\, the afternoon is open to all ages\, and the performance is part of Mohegan Sun’s Sunday acoustic series running through the end of August. \nDespite the name\, don’t assume this is four straight hours of traditional blues. Mohegan Sun describes its Acoustic Sundays performers as covering Top 40\, country\, pop and soul\, with some Sundays also featuring audience requests. \nI went looking specifically for reliable background on Madison Blues\, and this one is surprisingly difficult to pin down. Searches for the act are overwhelmed by the Elmore James song “Madison Blues\,” its well-known George Thorogood recording\, and the unrelated Madison Blues Society in Wisconsin. I couldn’t find a reliable artist website\, biography\, lineup or music profile that I could confidently connect to the act appearing at Mohegan Sun. Rather than accidentally give you a bio for the wrong Madison Blues\, I’d keep the artist description on the event page limited to what Mohegan Sun itself confirms. \nMadison Blues Takes the Sunday Slot\nMadison Blues is one of four acts booked for the final stretch of Sun Patio Acoustic Sundays in August. \nDavid Davis performs August 9\, followed by Madison Blues on August 16\, Tom Burgess on August 23 and Mollie Pop closing the series August 30. \nThe format is intentionally more relaxed than the big Friday-night tribute shows or Saturday concerts that take over the same space. Acoustic Sundays run from 4 to 8 p.m. and center on familiar music from across pop\, country and soul. \nIt’s essentially the quieter side of the Sun Patio weekend. \nAn Outdoor Sunday at Mohegan Sun\nSun Patio Bar sits just outside the Casino of the Earth\, between the Riverview and Indian Summer parking garages. \nThe seasonal outdoor space recently received a significant refresh\, including a larger stage and new sound system\, along with grassy turf\, fire pits and Adirondack-style seating around the patio. During the summer\, it becomes one of Mohegan Sun’s primary outdoor entertainment areas. \nFriday nights are considerably bigger affairs\, with tribute bands\, food trucks and the Party on the Sun Patio series. Sundays dial things down with acoustic performers. \nThat gives the August 16 show a different feel. You can arrive in the afternoon\, catch Madison Blues and still have the rest of around you if you want dinner or something else to do afterward. \nFree and All Ages\nThere’s no ticket required for Acoustic Sundays. \nMohegan Sun lists the series as free\, general admission and all ages. The Sun Patio Bar itself is restricted to guests 21 and older with valid identification\, but the concert area is open to families. \nThere are a couple of differences between these Sunday shows and some of the other Sun Patio events worth knowing before you arrive. \nAcoustic Sundays are standing-room only\, and guests can’t bring chairs\, coolers\, outside food or beverages into the concert. \nFor parking\, Mohegan Sun recommends the Indian Summer Garage or Riverview Parking Garage\, both convenient to the Sun Patio. \nWhat Happens if It Rains?\nThe outdoor setting comes with one obvious complication: New England weather. \nUnlike the larger Sun Patio Concert Series events that are promoted as rain or shine\, Acoustic Sundays are weather permitting. If conditions don’t cooperate\, Mohegan Sun says the performance may be relocated indoors to Todd English’s Tuscany. \nBands\, locations and schedules are also subject to change\, so checking Mohegan Sun’s event listing before leaving home is worthwhile if the Sunday forecast looks questionable. \nEvent Details\nDate: Sunday\, August 16\, 2026 \nTime: 4:00–8:00 p.m. \nPerformer: Madison Blues \nSeries: Sun Patio Acoustic Sundays \nLocation: Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun \nAddress: 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard\, Uncasville\, CT 06382 \nAdmission: Free \nAge: All ages; guests must be 21+ with valid ID to enter the Sun Patio Bar. \nMusic: Acoustic Top 40\, country\, pop and soul \nSeating: Standing room only \nOutside Chairs: Not permitted \nOutside Food & Drinks: Not permitted \nWeather: Weather permitting. The performance may move to Todd English’s Tuscany in inclement weather. \nBest Parking: Indian Summer Garage or Riverview Parking Garage \nPhone: (888) 226-7711 \nMore Information\nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \n

SUMMARY:Home Free at Sun Patio
DESCRIPTION:Home Free at Sun Patio brings the award-winning country a cappella group to Mohegan Sun on Saturday\, August 15\, for an outdoor concert built entirely around the human voice. The five-man group takes the stage at 8 p.m.\, mixing country standards\, pop songs\, original music\, vocal percussion\, and the close harmonies that have helped turn Home Free from an a cappella competition winner into an international touring act. \nNo guitars. No drums. No backing band. What sounds like a full rhythm section is created vocally\, with bass notes dropping underneath layered harmonies and beatboxing supplying the percussion. Home Free applies that formula to everything from Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” to modern country and pop\, then breaks up the music with the easygoing humor that has become a regular part of its concerts. (Mohegan Sun) \nUnlike Mohegan Sun’s free Friday-night Party on the Sun Patio shows\, Home Free is part of the separately ticketed Sun Patio Concert Series. The Saturday series is open to all ages\, general admission\, standing room only\, and held outdoors rain or shine. Food trucks\, pizza\, popcorn\, and beverages will be available throughout the evening. \nAbout Home Free\nHome Free has been around considerably longer than many people first encountering the group on television may realize. \nThe group formed in Minnesota in 2000 and spent years performing before its breakthrough came in 2013\, when Home Free won the fourth season of NBC’s The Sing-Off. The victory led to a recording contract and the 2014 album Crazy Life\, which reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s country chart. \nThat was the beginning rather than the peak. \nHome Free has since released six Top 3 albums in the United States. Its 2022 album So Long Dixie reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Current Country Albums chart\, followed by As Seen on TV in 2023 and Crazy(er) Life in 2024. (Home Free Music) \nThe group has also developed an enormous online audience. Home Free reports more than 830 million YouTube views\, more than 1.8 million YouTube subscribers\, 20 Top 10 hits\, and more than 720\,000 album equivalents worldwide. Touring has taken the group well beyond the United States to international audiences. \nHome Free official website \nCountry Music Without the Instruments\nCalling Home Free an a cappella group is accurate\, but it doesn’t entirely describe what happens onstage. \nThe arrangements are built to recreate much of the weight and movement of a conventional country band. Vocal percussion supplies the beat\, while an unusually deep bass voice fills the space normally occupied by a bass guitar. The remaining voices can then stack harmonies or move forward for individual leads. \nCountry remains the foundation\, but the repertoire stretches into pop and classic material. Home Free has recorded vocal interpretations of songs associated with artists including Johnny Cash\, Blake Shelton\, Keith Urban\, John Mayer\, and the Oak Ridge Boys. \nOne of the group’s signature performances is its version of Cash’s “Ring of Fire\,” a song Mohegan Sun specifically highlights ahead of the August concert. (Mohegan Sun Newsroom) \nMore Than a Vocal Showcase\nHome Free doesn’t present its concerts as formal demonstrations of vocal technique. \nHumor is a significant part of the show\, with the group’s personalities and onstage banter filling the spaces between songs. That combination has helped Home Free reach audiences beyond traditional a cappella fans. \nThe result sits somewhere between a country concert\, vocal showcase\, and comedy-laced variety show. The harmonies may be meticulously arranged\, but the atmosphere is intentionally loose. \nAn Outdoor Concert at the Sun Patio\nThe Sun Patio is located just outside Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth\, between the Indian Summer and Riverview parking garages. \nMohegan Sun recently updated the outdoor space with a larger stage and new sound system. The grassy venue also includes the adjacent Sun Patio Bar. \nHome Free is appearing as part of the Sun Patio Concert Series\, which is separate from the free Party on the Sun Patio tribute-band series held on Fridays. \nFor these Saturday ticketed concerts\, the setup is straightforward: general admission and standing room only. Guests cannot bring chairs into the venue. \nFood & Drinks\nSeveral food trucks are scheduled for the Home Free concert: \nReel Catch\nHungry Lion\nJayy’s\nFried Dough Nation \nMohegan Sun’s Reel Catch specializes in New England seafood\, including fish and chips\, hot and cold lobster rolls\, lobster grilled cheese\, lobster bisque\, and clam chowder. \nPizza from The Crafty Slice and freshly popped popcorn will also be available. \nThe Sun Patio Bar serves cocktails\, mocktails\, and other beverages\, but guests must be 21 or older with valid identification to enter the bar area. The concert itself is open to all ages. \nWhat to Bring — and What to Leave Home\nThis is a standing-room-only concert\, and chairs aren’t permitted\, so comfortable shoes are a particularly good idea. \nCoolers and outside food and beverages are also prohibited. \nUnlike some outdoor concert series where bad weather means waiting for a cancellation notice\, the Sun Patio Concert Series is advertised as rain or shine. \nParking\nThe easiest parking options for the Sun Patio are the Indian Summer Garage and Riverview Parking Garage. \nBoth put guests close to the outdoor venue\, which sits between the two garages just off the Casino of the Earth. \nEvent Details\nDate\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026 \nTime\n8:00 p.m. \nLocation\nSun Patio at Mohegan Sun \nAddress\n1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.\nUncasville\, CT \nAdmission\nTicket required. General admission. \nAge Restrictions\nAll ages. Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to enter the Sun Patio Bar. \nSeating\nStanding room only. Chairs are not permitted. \nFood\nReel Catch\, Hungry Lion\, Jayy’s\, and Fried Dough Nation food trucks are scheduled\, along with pizza from The Crafty Slice and popcorn. \nParking\nIndian Summer Garage and Riverview Parking Garage are the most convenient options. \nWeather\nRain or shine. \nImportant Notes\nNo chairs\, coolers\, or outside food and beverages are permitted. Fire pits aren’t available for purchase for Sun Patio Concert Series performances. Food trucks and event details are subject to change. \nMore Information\nFor more information\, visit the event website using the Event Website link below. \n

SUMMARY:Austin Snell at Wolf Den
DESCRIPTION:Austin Snell at Wolf Den brings the Georgia-born country-rock singer to Mohegan Sun on Saturday\, August 15\, for a free 21+ concert inside one of the casino’s most intimate live music venues. Snell has built his sound around a collision of country songwriting and hard-rock muscle\, creating what he describes as “grunge country” and earning a fast-growing national audience in the process. (Austin Snell) \nBorn in Georgia and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force\, Snell grew up listening to artists as different as Alan Jackson\, Nirvana\, and Nickelback. That mix still shows in his music today. His songs can carry the confession and storytelling of country one moment\, then break into heavier guitars and a rough-edged vocal attack the next. \nFor Wolf Den audiences\, this is a chance to see an artist who has been playing much larger rooms and major festivals in a close-up setting. Admission is free\, but seating is limited and first come\, first served\, so this is one of those shows where arriving early matters. Mohegan Sun allows guests to begin lining up no earlier than three hours before the 8 p.m. performance. (Mohegan Sun) \nAbout Austin Snell\nAustin Snell’s rise has been unusually fast. \nAfter leaving the Air Force\, he began building an audience through social media and quickly turned that attention into a country music career. His breakout songs include “Excuse the Mess” and “Pray All the Way Home\,” helping push his catalog to hundreds of millions of global streams. \nHis 2024 debut album\, Still Bleeding\, introduced listeners to the heavier edge of his sound\, mixing country themes with the aggression and distortion of modern rock. \nSnell followed it with the Home Sweet Hell EP\, a more introspective project centered on the gap between how a place looks from the outside and what it actually felt like growing up there. The title track was inspired by returning to his tiny South Georgia hometown and revisiting the house where he grew up. \nThat blend of hard rock and vulnerable songwriting is what separates him from a lot of artists in the current country field. The guitars may hit hard\, but the songs tend to come from a much more personal place. \nFrom Social Media to Major Stages\nSnell has already moved well beyond internet buzz. \nHe has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and appeared at major festivals including CMA Fest\, Stagecoach\, and Summerfest. His touring schedule has grown just as quickly\, with more than 120 dates planned in 2025 alone\, including his own Home Sweet Hell headline tour. \nHis Wolf Den appearance is part of a busy 2026 summer lineup at Mohegan Sun\, which has continued using the venue to bring both established names and rising artists into a smaller room. (Mohegan Sun Newsroom) \nWhat to Expect\nSnell’s live show sits somewhere between a country concert and a hard-rock set. \nExpect distorted guitars\, a raspy vocal delivery\, and songs that shift between aggressive choruses and more reflective lyrics. Fans of heavier modern country\, country-rock\, and artists who blur the line between Nashville and alternative rock should feel right at home. \nBecause the Wolf Den is so compact\, the show should feel noticeably different from seeing Snell at a festival or larger theater. \nFree Admission and First-Come Seating\nThere are no tickets required for this performance. \nAdmission to the Wolf Den is free for guests 21 and older\, but seats are limited and distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis. Guests may begin lining up at 5 p.m.\, three hours before showtime. \nOne person may hold up to four places in line\, but everyone must be present when seating begins. \nEvent Details\nDate\nSaturday\, August 15\, 2026 \nTime\n8:00 p.m. \nLocation\nWolf Den at Mohegan Sun \nAddress\n1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.\nUncasville\, CT \nAdmission\nFree \nSeating\nLimited and first come\, first served \nEarliest Lineup Time\n5:00 p.m. \nAge Restrictions\n21+ \nParking\nFree parking is available at Mohegan Sun. \nImportant Notes\nGuests may line up no earlier than three hours before showtime. One person may hold up to four places in line\, but all guests must be present when seating begins. The Wolf Den is a non-smoking venue. Times and performers are subject to change. \nMore Information\nFor more information\, visit the event website using the Event Website link below. \n\n

SUMMARY:Brandi Carlile with special guest Jensen McRae
DESCRIPTION:There’s a certain kind of voice that doesn’t just sound good… it *feels* like something. That’s what you get with Brandi Carlile. Her music moves between folk\, rock\, and Americana\, but it always lands in the same place emotionally… honest\, grounded\, and powerful without trying too hard. Whether it’s a quiet acoustic moment or a full-band swell\, she has a way of pulling a room in and holding it there\, like everyone’s sharing the same breath for a second. \nHer live shows lean into that connection. Backed by longtime collaborators and a tight band\, the songs open up in a way that feels bigger than the recordings. You’ll hear the hits\, sure\, but also the deeper cuts that longtime fans hold onto. There’s storytelling woven in\, a little humor\, a little reflection… and then those moments where her voice just lifts and fills the space in a way that sticks with you long after the song ends. \nOpening the night\, Jensen McRae brings a quieter\, introspective energy that sets the tone perfectly. Her songwriting is sharp and observant\, the kind that sneaks up on you with a line that hits harder than you expected. Together\, it makes for a night that builds naturally… from intimate to expansive… giving you space to feel the music instead of just hearing it.

SUMMARY:Be Kind & Rewind - 90s Tribute at Sun Patio
DESCRIPTION:Be Kind & Rewind – 90s Tribute at Sun Patio turns back the clock at Mohegan Sun on Friday\, August 14\, with a free outdoor concert centered on 1990s music. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.\, and the band takes the stage at 8 p.m. for a 21+ night of pop\, rock\, alternative\, hip-hop and other hits from the decade. (Mohegan Sun) \nBe Kind & Rewind bills its show as the “Ultimate 90s Experience\,” taking a broad approach to the decade rather than concentrating on a single artist or style. That means a night capable of jumping from grunge and alternative rock to pop and hip-hop\, with the familiar songs and rapid shifts in genre that made ’90s radio wonderfully unpredictable. (Be Kind And Rewind) \nThe concert is part of Mohegan Sun’s Party on the Sun Patio\, a 14-week summer series pairing free outdoor concerts with food trucks and drink specials. Guests can dance near the stage\, bring their own chairs\, rent one at the venue or reserve a fire pit for a more comfortable view of the show. \nAbout Be Kind & Rewind\nBe Kind & Rewind is a touring tribute act devoted to recreating the musical free-for-all of the 1990s. Instead of impersonating a single band\, the group builds its performances around an entire decade\, moving between rock\, alternative\, pop\, and hip-hop sounds that competed for airplay on MTV and radio. \nThe band’s own description calls the show an “Ultimate 90s Experience\,” with the emphasis on packing the decade’s hits into a single performance. The group is touring extensively during summer 2026\, with the Mohegan Sun appearance falling between shows in New York and additional dates around the Northeast. \nIt’s essentially a live ’90s mixtape\, designed less like a traditional tribute concert and more like a big nostalgia party. \nParty on the Sun Patio\nMohegan Sun’s Sun Patio becomes an outdoor music venue every Friday during the summer\, with bands performing beneath the night sky as part of the resort’s Hot Summer Fun programming. \nThe 2026 Party on the Sun Patio season runs for 14 weeks and focuses heavily on tribute acts. Admission to the concerts is free for guests 21 and older. (Mohegan Sun Newsroom) \nSeating is first come\, first served\, but guests may bring their own chairs. \nFood & Drinks\nThree food trucks are scheduled for the August 14 concert: \n\nJayy’s\nFried Dough Nation\nReel Catch\n\nReel Catch is Mohegan Sun’s own seafood food truck\, serving seafood-focused dishes throughout the Sun Patio season. Drink specials are also available at the venue. \nOutside food\, beverages and coolers aren’t permitted. \nSeating & Chair Rentals\nGuests are welcome to bring their own chairs\, or Adirondack-style chairs can be rented for $10 at the Tiki Hut. Rental chairs aren’t permitted at the fire pits or on the dance floor. Regular seating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nFire Pit Reservations\nGroups looking for reserved space can book one of the Sun Patio’s fire pits. \nVIP Fire Pits: $45 per person and include one alcoholic beverage per guest\, cocktail service and prime stage views. VIP pits accommodate six to eight people\, with only 10 available. \nGeneral Fire Pits: $30 per person and include one alcoholic beverage per guest and cocktail service. These also accommodate groups of six to eight. \nFire pit reservations must be checked in by 8 p.m. to guarantee entry and seating. \nWhat Happens if It Rains?\nThere are no rain dates or makeup dates. \nIf weather forces a change\, cancellations will be announced by 2 p.m. on the day of the event\, and the band will perform inside the Wolf Den. \nEvent Details\nDate\nFriday\, August 14\, 2026 \nDoors Open\n6:30 p.m. \nBand Starts\n8:00 p.m. \nLocation\nSun Patio at Mohegan Sun \nAddress\n1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.\nUncasville\, CT 06382 \nAdmission\nFree \nAge Restrictions\n21+ with valid ID \nSeating\nFirst come\, first served. SUMMARY:PLUSH at Wolf Den
DESCRIPTION:PLUSH at Wolf Den brings the all-female rock band to Mohegan Sun on Thursday\, August 13\, for a free 21+ concert inside the Casino of the Earth. Led by Connecticut-born vocalist and guitarist Moriah Formica\, PLUSH has built a national following with hard-rock originals\, powerhouse vocals\, and a live show that has put the band on stages alongside some of rock’s biggest names. \nFor Connecticut fans\, this one has a home-state connection. Formica grew up in the Capital Region and first gained national attention as a teenager on NBC’s The Voice before forming PLUSH. The band has since moved well beyond its television connection\, touring extensively and establishing itself as a rising force in contemporary hard rock. \nThe Wolf Den puts that sound into a much smaller room than PLUSH often plays. Admission is free\, but seating is limited and first come\, first served\, making an early arrival particularly important for this show. Mohegan Sun allows guests to begin lining up three hours before the 8 p.m. performance. (Mohegan Sun) \nAbout PLUSH\nPLUSH emerged in 2020 with a mission to bring a new generation of women into the forefront of hard rock. The band is fronted by singer and guitarist Moriah Formica\, whose powerful voice first reached a national audience when she competed on Season 13 of The Voice at just 16 years old. \nRather than building its reputation around covers\, PLUSH quickly established an original catalog rooted in modern hard rock. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 2021\, followed by extensive touring that exposed the group to much larger audiences. \nPLUSH has shared bills and toured with major rock acts including Evanescence\, Halestorm\, Disturbed\, Alice in Chains\, Daughtry and Seether\, giving the band an unusually strong touring résumé for a relatively young act. \nThe result is a band that draws heavily from the muscular guitar sound of classic and modern hard rock without feeling like a throwback. Formica’s soaring vocals sit at the center\, surrounded by heavy riffs\, melodic hooks and the kind of arrangements built to get considerably louder when they’re played live. \nMoriah Formica’s Connecticut Connection\nThis Wolf Den appearance also serves as something of a regional homecoming. \nFormica was born in Connecticut before growing up in nearby upstate New York\, and she began performing professionally while still in her teens. Her appearance on The Voice introduced her to millions of viewers\, but her work with PLUSH has allowed her to develop a much heavier musical identity. \nThat makes the Mohegan Sun performance an opportunity to see an artist with local roots who has gone on to tour nationally with many of the bands that helped shape her sound. \nWhat to Expect\nPLUSH’s concerts lean into the heavier side of contemporary rock: big vocals\, distorted guitars\, hard-driving rhythms and songs designed for a live room. \nFans familiar with the band can expect original material from across its catalog\, while newcomers who enjoy bands such as Halestorm and Evanescence should have a pretty good idea of the musical territory. \nAnd because this is the Wolf Den\, you’ll be seeing the band in a substantially more intimate environment than the arenas and amphitheaters where PLUSH has appeared as a touring support act. \nFree Admission and First-Come Seating\nThere are no tickets required for the Wolf Den performance. Admission is free for guests 21 and older. \nThe tradeoff is that a seat isn’t guaranteed. \nWolf Den seating is limited and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Guests may begin lining up no earlier than three hours before the show\, meaning the earliest permitted lineup time for PLUSH is 5 p.m. \nOne person may hold up to four places in line\, but everyone must be present when seating takes place. \nEvent Details\nDate\nThursday\, August 13\, 2026 \nTime\n8:00 p.m. \nLocation\nWolf Den at Mohegan Sun \nAddress\n1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.\nUncasville\, CT \nAdmission\nFree \nSeating\nLimited and first come\, first served \nEarliest Lineup Time\n5:00 p.m. \nParking\nFree parking is available at Mohegan Sun. \nAge Restrictions\n21 and older \nImportant Notes\nGuests may line up no earlier than three hours before the performance. SUMMARY:Billy Idol - It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!
DESCRIPTION:There’s something about a Billy Idol show that still feels dangerous in the best way… like the volume’s a little higher\, the attitude’s a little sharper\, and the whole night could tilt into chaos at any moment. The *It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!* run keeps that energy alive\, bringing his signature mix of punk edge and arena rock across a string of summer 2026 dates. It’s not a nostalgia act… it’s a reminder that this sound still hits hard when it’s played loud. \nThe set pulls straight from a catalog that helped define an era. Songs like “Rebel Yell\,” “White Wedding\,” and “Dancing With Myself” don’t just land… they explode\, the kind of tracks that turn a crowd into a chorus within seconds. There’s newer material in the mix too\, but it all connects through that same DNA… driving guitars\, punchy rhythms\, and a voice that still cuts through everything around it. \nLive\, it’s less about polish and more about presence. Idol doesn’t overcomplicate it… he owns the stage\, the band locks in behind him\, and the energy builds naturally from one song to the next. You’ve got longtime fans who’ve been carrying these songs for decades\, mixed with newer listeners stepping into it for the first time\, all meeting somewhere in the middle. If you’re looking for a night that feels loud\, electric\, and just a little rebellious\, this tour delivers exactly that without pulling its punches.
