Featuring music by DJ Bently LMP\, the 21+ event invites dancers of all experience levels to enjoy bachata\, salsa\, dembow\, and more in an energetic atmosphere overlooking the Thames River. \nA bachata party is a social dance event centered around bachata\, a music and dance style that originated in the Dominican Republic. Throughout the evening\, partners dance to romantic and upbeat bachata songs while DJs also mix in related Latin genres such as salsa\, merengue típico\, reggaeton\, and dembow to keep the dance floor moving. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply want to enjoy the music and lively atmosphere\, bachata nights are known for being welcoming\, social\, and full of energy. \nGuests can dance indoors or outside on the Blue Duck’s open-air deck while taking in river views throughout the night. The full bar will be open\, and the kitchen will serve food until midnight.
