Designed as a relaxed group hike rather than an intense outdoor trek\, the program encourages participants to pay closer attention to the wildlife\, plants\, and seasonal changes unfolding along the trails as spring settles across the region. For nature lovers\, photographers\, and families looking for a quieter way to spend part of the weekend\, the experience offers a refreshing break from crowded shoreline destinations and busy holiday events. \nThe Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center has long been known for its wooded trail system and environmental education programs\, with paths winding through wetlands\, open meadows\, and shaded forest sections that change dramatically throughout the year.
